Today was a bittersweet day as sweet Pixie and Tanner headed off to their new home. These two were the last of this season’s kids to leave, and somehow that makes it a little harder.
Their new family has been working so hard to prepare a safe and comfortable home, and I couldn’t be more grateful knowing that brother and sister will get to stay together. Watching them settle in, it was clear they felt right at home — calm, curious, and content, as if they already knew they were surrounded by loving people.
Wishing these two the happiest days ahead and endless adventures together.
