Our new CMD, IJR Lapis (aka Carlos) turned 1yr old this weekend. We have only had this amazing boy for three weeks now and I am over the moon with how incredible he is.
I have had so many dogs over the years but never a LSGD before. From the moment we brought him home we could all tell he was special.
He is so smart and learns so quickly. We really tested him with his new charges being two rambunctious Nigerian Dwarf bottle babies. He quickly learned not chase them and has been a steady protector.
He is so friendly and laid back that we were initially worried that he would not do much in the way of protection but quickly learned that he is just skilled at evaluating a threat. He watches attentively when anyone moves or drives by but only barks when he senses danger.
