We had quite a scare this week. Enzo had an encounter with Amanita mushrooms — one of the toxic varieties that can appear seemingly overnight. Even though I do my best to remove every one I see, they pop up faster than I can find them. Thankfully, we recognized the signs quickly and got him to the ER right away. After excellent care and a lot of love, he’s home, healthy, and has officially earned himself partial house-dog status.
