Our Nigora program is rooted in purpose, care, and a passion for versatility. Registered with ANGBA, our Nigoras represent a thoughtful cross between our ADGA-registered Nigerian Dwarf goats and CAGBA-registered Angoras — combining strong milking lines, luxurious fiber, and a compact, friendly nature ideal for small farms and homesteads.
We’re currently working with our first-generation (F1) Nigoras, a 50/50 blend of Nigerian Dwarf and Angora genetics. As a developing breed, Nigoras exhibit a variety of coat types — from fine, cashmere-like fiber that sheds naturally to longer mohair-like locks that require shearing. Each goat brings its own unique expression of fiber, color, and charm.
Our breeding goals focus on improving fleece consistency, maintaining reliable milk production, and prioritizing friendly, cooperative temperaments that make daily handling a joy. With each generation, we aim to contribute meaningfully to the Nigora breed by producing dual-purpose goats that are not only functional but a delight to raise.
