Today was puppy DNA testing day, which means a brief but tough moment for everyone involved. Each pup had to be kept isolated—from one another and from mom—for about an hour, and they made sure we felt every second of it. The little cries, the searching eyes, the dramatic sighs… they absolutely know how to pull at your heartstrings.
As hard as it is, days like this are part of our commitment to responsible breeding and long-term health. The puppies bounced back quickly, mom was more than ready to gather everyone up again, and peace was fully restored in the puppy pen. 💛
